Should bradford take note from fran
Should bradford take note from fran tarkenton? He was a great qb that helped his team to 3 superbowls (not winning any but still). But one thing he managed to do was elude defenders. I think with our line this year we might see more games like minnesota were he is running for his life. Fran scrambled because his line was bad (also just because he wanted to) so they are in similar situations.
Side note while fran was doing this the head coach of the vikings at the time was norm van brocklin who didn't like the scrambling.
Re: Should bradford take note from fran
Our line has looked pretty good over the last couple of weeks. I wouldn't sell them out too soon just yet.
Re: Should bradford take note from fran
The offensive line starters are better than they're advertised to be, and as long as they stay healthy, I think that they'll be able to give Sam the time to shred defenses no matter who our receivers are. It'll be harder when we get to the meat of our schedule and we meet some better defensive lines, but against Zona, Seattle and Oakland, I think we'll do pretty well.
Re: Should bradford take note from fran
I'm not sure the mad scrambling thing would work with the pursuit speed of defensive players in 2010. If the OL continues to improve and Bradford continues to show the ability to roll away from pressure and make quick decisions, he'll be fine.
Re: Should bradford take note from fran
If it comes to Sam having to run for his life, Spags better take control and play AJ or Null and challenge the offensive line, "If you guys cant protect him, we are gonna sit him until we find someone who can."
Luckily I don't think it will come to that. It appears that the front five are starting to gel, and I believe they are naturally talented enough to get the job done.

That's true idk if he could outrun them as easily as fran just due to speed.
I really hope our offensive line can hold up I don't wanna see bradford having to run to save his life.
and c-mob I would say the same thing I hope bradford doesn't get killed.
Re: Should bradford take note from fran
Fran Tarkenton had some help from one Chuck Foreman just as Kurt Warner had Marshall Faulk.
Here's to Sam Bradford and Steven Jackson!!
Re: Should bradford take note from fran
NO.
Sam will ditch it if need be and kill them on the next play.
