Should the Rams go for Packman?

I believe that we should go after packman if we don't want to give up as much for Lito. I'm thinking a 5th rounder or even 6th rounder could do seeing as how John Clayton reported today that Dallas wants to give up a 5th rounder for him. I think this would be a great oppurtunity. The guy is arguabley the fastest cb in the leagure. He looks to be making himself more public and i think the troubles are gona with him point blank. He looks to be in shape still. Let me know on this one guys.

Re: Should the Rams go for Packman?

Someone started a thread on the very same topic recently - and some said yes - others said no.The guy is still suspended and still hangs out in the wrong places with the wrong people .. I personally don't want him near the Rams, but there are others here who think he is worth as high as a 4th.

im all for it, under one condition, we can put clauses in his contract stating that if he does get in legal trouble we dont have to pay him/ or we can release him or something in that context

I have a hard time believing this is even still a discussion.

Last I read or heard was there seems to be little or no desire in Jones to improve his citizenship. Do we really need someone of that ilk, regardless of how talented they may be?

I think the only way his character issues would start to dissapear is if he was a part of a winning team - not exactly something the Ram's can offer him.

I'll be happy to take Pacman for a fifth rounder! The Titans giving us the 08 or the 09 pick?

If he was a FA and we could land him cheap at a 1 year deal then yeah I'd be for it, but I don't want to give anything up.

The one word that best addresses Packkid as a possible team member with us: N O !

Forget it. Absolutely not. That Bang Cartoon depicts this wannabe athlete too well, sadly.

    Beat me to it.

Devaney expects high quality character. Pacman is no where near this.

Re: Should the Rams go for Packman?

As I recall, we spent about a week discussing this issue less than a month ago. I'm fairly sure just about every concievable PacMan angle was covered.

would you trade a #5 for pacman jones
