    Show me a good looser

Show me a good looser and I will show you a LOOSER.

I feel sorry for every Rams fan that attended London this weekend and paid a LOT of money to watch a Rams team that thought it was a holiday for them. Am I right in saying the above? sure I am. I paid a LOT of money to travel a LONG way to come down and meet up with fellow ClanRam members from all over the UK and Europe. They also paid a LOT of money to support a Rams team that did not look like they had a clue how to:

    1) Stop new england
    2) sack a QB
    3) tackle a TE
    4) put up a fight
    5) catch a ball
    6) coach

at the moment ...... I am looking at the Rams and calling them LOOSERS!

The worrying thing is, they look good at it.

Key words in this post are: "at the moment" Can't argue with that. Good losers are in very short supply. After a game like the last one, I am too pissed off to post for a couple of days. However, I can depend on guys like you and Ferter though to articulate my gameday sentiments quite well .. Good job then to the both of you!!

Dez ... you have all the right to be frustrated. This team is easy to get frustrated at.

Re: Show me a good looser

The worst part was sitting there at wembley 2.5 minutes into the game telling my Bucs mate that if we can score like that there will be no stoping us as the D would keep the Patsies honest......

Well just show how much I know.... Was a looooooong way traveling back home to Denmark.

At least I got to see Holt, Bruce and Faulk (second time) and the Rally at Trafalga and the tailgate and pregame show was also nice...... But still I somehow feel cheated. I knew that it would be hard to pull of a W but this was a joke

Well in a few days it is forgotten and when we beat the s&@t out of the whiners all will be good again. GO RAMS!

Re: Show me a good looser

The problem is that early success has caused expectations to grow.

The fact is that the Rams are younger and more talented than last years 2-14 team. How quick we forget that with youth comes inconsistency. The Rams play was very inconsistent on Sunday alot of mental errors during the game.

How soon we forget the Patriots were AFC champs and lost a close game to the Giants. Sure I was disappointed by the lost but I think it is easy to OVEReact. Those who trust in FIsher see the BIG picture and know that this team is headed in the right direction and will soon be competitive just not yet.

    Go Rams

I agree. But still hurts alot to witness the first live Rams game and then they don't show up....

    Yeah Dez you are right.

They punched us in the gut and kicked us while we were down!

I'm still trying to get over it.

Yeah to be there in person is not the same as just another game to the fans in the states.

At the risk of getting 'flamed,' I disagree that attending the game in London was a waste of time etc. First of all Mrs. TorontoRam and I used the game as a reason to visit Ireland and England and spend time with our son who lives in the UK. Second, we enjoyed the game and the activities that surrounded it. And, third, isn't anyone who attends a game, anywhere, taking a chance that it could be disappointing. And, finally, isn't that why the games are played, because the outcome is unknown. If someone is going to spend the money to travel across the pond or anywhere else to see a game it might be helpful to lower one's expectations in terms of winning or losing before the game so that it doesn't become a catastrophic experience. IMHO.

    Hmmm....Interesting point of view.

Maybe the Rams should be up front with fans and bill themselves as a high risk investment.

Given that scenario, those willing to invest in such a high risk venture should at least have some type of reward to hope for. Perhaps free beer and hotdogs could ensue after we are down by 3 touchdowns. At least there'd be some return on that investment ..
