Blue and Roland are demonstrating why I tend to like Hawk fans. They know how to have fun with a rival board, instead of just bicker back and forth.

You don't get that from a lot of other fanbases.

P.S. Granted, Roland's NASCAR analogy is way off the mark, but that's a different story.

Psh! It'd be right on the mark if it was from a Rams fan.
Seahawks fan in Seattle. Not here to troll. Go Hawks!

Don't make bets with me, though. I'm a notorious welcher and should not be trusted on my honor.

I'm REALLY just jealous of Sam.

It kinda does because the rules committee had the foresight to put it in the smallprint.

I can't believe this dead horse is still being beaten. But I had to chime in on the NASCAR analogy since it truly was WAY off the mark. QBR is not a race, it's a stat. If you're in 2nd place and you and the ENTIRE rest of the field crash and the winner goes on to win...2nd place is still second place. You might not like it, but at the end of the year when you sort QB's by QBR, wherever 90.9 lands on the list...that's where Sam Bradford's name will be, whether that be first (we know it won't) or 14th (where he stands now). As a side note, on ESPN's NFL rankings (based on actual NFL QBR, not ESPN QBR) there is an asterisk which states To qualify, a player must have at least 14 attempts per team's games played. For a full season that would equate to 224 pass attempts. Bradford has 262 attempts, so not that it matters, but for good measure he qualifies for a whole season.

What you see is what you get, but what you see depends on where you stand.

BTW, somebody needs to call Nascar and let 'em know how things should be. If someone's in first place on lap 146 and crashes their car, then they really won the race. Doesn't matter who's where at the end of the actual race. :
If he had a 48 or 24 on his car, a bow-tie painted on the "grill", and his car was part of HMS, then the announcers and NASCAR would probably agree with you.

That's probably the worst comparison I've ever heard.

    I like crepes!

Roland, you lost this one. Just consider it a cheap lesson, and don't forget the exception clauses next time.

What if you just said "I love really thin pancakes"...? That is a fair compromise, no?

    EPILOGUE:

Roland (somewhat unsurprisingly) has reneged on the bet.
