Receiver Mike Sims-Walker made his preseason debut for the Rams on Saturday night. His time was cut short by a groin injury.
He’s now expected to miss the Rams’ second preseason game entirely.
“He’s a little sore,” coach Steve Spagnuolo said Sunday regarding Sims-Walker, via comments distributed by the team. “He’s weak in the groin. They didn’t do an MRI right now, they’re just going to wait. If it doesn’t improve they’ll take a picture of it. He’s doubtful going into this particular week’s game.”
The Rams are still without receiver Donnie Avery, who is recovering from a torn ACL suffered last year. The Rams host the Titans on Saturday night.

Not exactly something you want your head coach saying about you. :D

Especially when you were once suspended for a "late night rendezvous with a lady friend":D

Didn't Brett Favre try this approach with a certain reporter?
Re: Sims-Walker doubtful for next game with groin injury
Back to seriousness...regular season, I bet that he'd play. This is a preseason "better safe than sorry" thing.
Maybe he can hire Travis Henry as a personal trainer. 11 kids with 10 different mothers has to mean something, am I right?

In contrast, how would it sound to say, "he's strong in the groin"?
I hope / trust SW will be fine. Don't play next week. Those team doctors & trainers better earn their money.
