Since I have criticized Seahawks.net, I should also give them credit (Rams related)

I noticed this thread on Seahawks.net.

Seahawks.NET - The Voice of the 12th Man! • View topic - Rams Quinn needs a big time fine cheap shot on RW

The thread starter tried to argue that Robert Quinn deserved a penalty and fine for a hit on Russell Wilson. The majority of the Hawks fans who responded disagreed, and found no problem with the hit.

Its nice to see opposing fans who are fair minded and give credit where its do, so I thought I should do the same by passing along the link.

Golden Tate is still a $*@#& though!

I agree that the responses were very reasonable and even handed, with most getting it right. It was obviously a bang bang play, with Quinn hitting Wilson just after he released the ball, and going for the strip.

    Maybe there's hope for Seahawks.net.

I'm tellin' ya.......Seahawk fans actually tend to be pretty level-headed when compared to the fans of other teams. Especially when compared to those goat molesters that cheer for the whiners.

Same thing goes for the Arizona Cardinals fan base. I always thought he was a nice guy.

I used to participate on that board a bit and i always found them to be knowledgeable and engaging, as long as you didnt go on and try to start a fight. This was mainly in the Bulger era. I was always of the view that if you could have combined the Rams receivers with the seahawks offensive line and bulger at qb you would have had a truly dominant offense.

Re: Since I have criticized Seahawks.net, I should also give them credit (Rams relate

The Seahawks fans I have encountered have tried justifying how the "Fail mary" was the correct call and one even told me a rule that all the receiver has to do is place one hand on the ball regardless of where its at and its a TD...

Oh no, I thought that penalty on Quinn was a good call!?! At least a correct one. I thought the call was for helmet-to-helmet contact. He'll get fined simply because of the penalty. I didn't think it was flagrant at all, though.

There was no flag on the play in question.

Sorry, I'm thinking of a different play then, the 3-penalty play. Doesn't look like Quinn got fined for anything, either.
