Maybe this exists here somewhere already, but I would find it very helpful in postulating some thoughts, to potentially post, if there were a place on the CLANRAM that kept a running list of the players on the roster with their corresponding salary and salary cap numbers.

I know whose on the roster, I just would like a nice quick reference. How many times during the year does someone ask "what's the cap situation?" or "what's Joe Schmukatelli's cap number?".

Does anyone else concur?

Unfortunately it's much easier said than done. I don't believe there is a database that provides the salary and salary cap numbers for all members of our roster. Rotoworld supplies salary information on their player pages, but getting cap charges for each player is hit and miss there. I know there used to be one somewhere on the 'net but it was rather outdated.

Translation, what you're asking for is a rather daunting task that may require resources beyond our reach.

Best guestimations would be good enough for my purposes. Nobody on this site is going to be managing the Rams Cap, I'd just like a quick reference with an idea of what a player is costing.

Certain guys on this site seem to be able to deduce these numbers, all I'd like is to have those numbers recorded. And as better numbers emerge, those numbers can be updated. It's a running thing.

Yeah I have Calvin Johnson in a dorm franchise league, not sure how the Lions will afford him in seven years...

But i agree that it would be useful and entertaining(?) to know what players make and how much signing a big free agent really would cost against our cap.

For real! I traded for him once, and had to dump him off again because his contract was INSANE! To be fair, he was really good though
