Which six pack are you buying?

Just wanted to get a feel for the players we have seen or read about in camp. I left DX off due to lack of practice time, not saying he's done, just far behind.

When we signed Steve Smith, I was skeptical. But I guess I was very wrong. As of right now he's been doing terrific, and according to what kind of offense we're going to run, he's going to fit in PERFECTLY. Just like the rest of our WR's, he fits in greatly with the scheme. Good route runners, nice hands, and deceptive speed are basically the 3 things that define our WR corps pretty well (other than Givens who's got killer speed).

Rams sign WR Brandyn Harvey

The St. Louis Rams worked out wide receiver Brandyn Harvey today and liked what they saw.

Harvey signed a one-year contract with the Rams, according to an NFL source, putting him in position to compete for a roster spot on a team that needs help at the position.

Harvey has spent time previously with the Atlanta Falcons and Arizona Cardinals. The 6-4, 205-pound Villanova product was on the Cardinals practice squad last season after being let go by Atlanta.

Went with the first and last option. I wish DX could get healthy to make the package Quick, Givens, Amendola, Smith, DX and either Pettis or Salas depending on who stays healthy and productive. I'm out on Gibson. I was pleasantly surprised with Salas this year, but he has faded as of recent. Pettis has put together a strong case for giving him a go lately. I had him last on my list until recently. Although I wish we could put DX on the roster, I don't see it happening.

Can I buy Quick, Givens, Smith, Amendola, Salas and Gibby, but only until Pettis returns from suspension? My guess is that a receiver like Gibby gets carried over until Pettis comes back, and then likely gets cut at that point.
