Is SJ On Pace To Make The Pro Bowl?
After 8 games, Steven Jackson has hopped, skipped and danced his way to some pretty impressive stats. In the NFC he's currently 2nd in rushing yards (5th in NFL), 1st in receiving yards for a back (1st in NFL), 2nd in all-purpose yards (4th in NFL) and 1st in receptions for a back (2nd in NFL).
Before the season, Marshall Faulk predicted that Jackson would make the Pro Bowl. Could he be right?

Re: Is SJ On Pace To Make The Pro Bowl?
It's possible, I figure Alexander is out of the running (he's missed too many games) then you have Tiki, Portis, Westbrook, Jackson, Gore. You could make a case for Kevin Jones if he keeps playing the way he is now. Chester Taylor also has a slim shot. So there are a few names that could keep Jackson out of the Pro Bowl depending on how the 2nd half of the season goes.

I voted for him. He is a major part of one of the most prolific offenses in the NFC. Westbrook and Tiki are probably his biggest challengers in my opinion.

Re: Is SJ On Pace To Make The Pro Bowl?
i think he is the second guy after tiki and agree that people around the league know him. Fans like the fact that he delivers blows and seeks out contact. thats the kind of thing that makes people want to vote for him.
From a players perspective, he is a well known load to tackle and his receiving skills now push him into the elite category.
