There is no need to lighten up because I'm not taking this seriously, (I mean really how could I, LOL). I take nothing personal on the internet. You obviously missed the humor of "dishing slop," because of course I'm not Linehan. Slop seems like a high school clique (a fake one at that, which makes it even more funny), so there was no "lashing" out. As I said before, I'm just expressing my opinion.

All in fun? Sorry, I don't get it. Where's the "fun" in forming a "party" that looks to be openly in opposition to your teams head coach? Think about it, opposition to your teams head coach? Thankfully, Linehans players have nothing but respect, support, and words of praise for what he's done and that's what matters. SLOP does not matter, other than to create derisiveness and division.

What makes it fun is that it is not serious. Its entirely facetious.

If I wished to condemn Scott Linehan in a serious manner, I'd post a thread titled "Scott Linehan should be fired," or "Scott Linehan is a bad coach," or something to that effect.

Instead, I framed it in the context of a silly mock-political party. In doing so, I communicated (and most seem to get this) that it was not to be taken seriously, but rather an expression of frustration.

In any event, if you look back at the start of this thread, I stated clearly that I was dropping the whole SLOP thing for now, and hoped never to discuss it again. Forty-somthing responses later, here we are...
