Re: Snead Knows What to Look For in College Players
Let's be honest: There is a lot of luck involved with being a GM. Certainly, some are better than others, but nearly every GM out there can identify NFL talent. What they can't POSSIBLY know is how each draftee will improve and whether or not they will stay healthy. This is all guesswork.
I'm impressed with Snead, and the early returns on him as a GM are very promising. But we need to wait 3-4 years, just as we would with any player, to see exactly HOW good he is. Most would agree his first draft with Fisher was pretty successful. The key is doing it again and again, piecing several good drafts together to build this thing.
