So, have we begun jumping the ship?

What's going on around here? Nobody is talking, there are hardly any new posts. Sure, we are 2-12, but does that mean we have to quit talking football?

We lost the game against the Seahawks but there are many a things that could be talked about concerning that game - the great play of Craft and Bartell, Bulger starting to get in a groove, the reemergence of Torry Holt, etc..

It's sad to me to see it become so quiet around here. This board is one of things that keeps me sane as a Ram's fan. I know I can always rant and rave here and not get drilled too badly for it ...

    Has the offseason already started?

I guess we need the government to give the Rams a bailout.

I truly could not see myself cheering for another team. Rams tell I die!

Sorry. I've been busy in meetings with Chip Rosenbloom regarding my bid to buy the Rams and move them to Orlando, Florida. I'll keep you posted as the negotiations continue.

Yep. Here every day ... just quietly observing. 5-25 will do that to you.

    Wait, that sounds pessimistic ....

It has been very quiet, but I guess that's to be expected. For a whiner week, it's been extremely quiet. I pretty much take each Sunday now as a one game season and I'm really looking forward to this weekend and a chance to get some satisfaction. GO RAMS!

I was brave and started a new Bulger thread, so maybe that will get the wolves out. Marc is starting to play better, no? Amazing what confidence in one's offensive line can do ...

Well it has been quiet no doubt. I will go as far to say because it has been quiet on the boards that I've been quiet.

But to many, this season is doomed and far over. I am guilty to say that I just want the offseason to start so we can see what our Rams team will do.

Has anyone jumped ship? I seriously doubt that. Are we disappointed in our team? Of course we are. This board will remain quiet until about Saturday night. Depending on the game, it will go quiet again until the following saturday night.

Re: So, have we begun jumping the ship?

I've been quite busy. I work for chicken little, and he declared that the sky was falling this week...no, wait, that's not entirely true. The weather forcast was calling for some nasty stuff coming in this area, and chicken little thinks we are going to have another ice storm like we've had the last couple of years, power going out and all. So, to appease Mr. C. Little, I've spent the last couple of weeks trying to get a 22 year old diesel generator up and running, wire up a load center to it, and get everything ready to go. After that, I spent two days explaining why we can't hook up an X-Ray machine that pulls 200 amps to a generator that produces 200 amps...and run the walk-in freezer, and lights, and a bunch of other unneeded crap.
On top of that, both of the girls have had Christmas Concerts this week. Thursday, we have the auction of my parent's house, and we still haven't got the tree decorated yet.

I can say that I DO get to read most of the posts while on break at work, but it is a little hard to see on a Blackjack. And try typing on that tiny keyboard when your fingers are numb from the 14 degree temperatures...

there's only so many ways one can talk about how bad we stink...check the draft & FA section, it's pretty busy there.
