    So just for the record...

Last year Shurmur was an idiot that needed to go because of the dink and dunk and now McDaniels is an idiot that needs to go because he won't dink and dunk.

Does that about sum it up?

IMO Shurmur sucked because he didn't score enough, and MCD sucks because he doesn't score enough.

At one point we got to understand, that is not about a system, a player or a coach, is all about Ws, and we don't have many of these lately, don't care if we win 1/2-0 but we have to start winning, please

    No.

Basically Shurmur only used the dink and dunk. McDaniels doesn't use it.

The reason they are both idiots is that they have their offense, the way they want to play, and are either too stubborn or too arrogant (or both) to realise that it isn't working and they need to change it up. Shurmur needed to take more shots deep with the OL playing well last year. McDaniels needs to stop trying to throw deep when the OL can't hold up for long periods.

When Bradford is struggling this year McDaniels should put the ball in Jacksons hands and give Bradford some shallow routes and short completions. But that doesn't seem to happen when the plan seems to be "Throw it to Brandon Lloyd on a medium to long route" every single play
HUbison and NJ Ramsfan1 like this.

LOL yea thats funny but last time i checked a good OFC sees what works and does it.Each coordinator has their philosophy on how they build the playbook but you still have to go with what the defense gives you which is what the good coordinators understand and do.If we are getting crazy pressure we need to go short to back them off, then once they back off and give us more time we hit them deep and make them pay for giving us time.It seems easy enough of a concept but apparently the Rams dont get it.Idk what it is about this team....its something....GOT TO BE A CURSE......if only it was that easy to diagnose lol.

One thing that happened this week, is on Friday Saffold hurt himself lifting weights... our backup became the starter and he went out in the second quarter not to return. Our backup to the back up with no reps all week came in and well, so the story goes. If we can't get yards on first down and can't run for more then a year, third and 8 is like third and forever.

This team is just snake bitten beyond belief maybe next year it will go the other way and we stay healthy.

Exactly. As stated on another thread, a good coach adjusts to his personnel- i.e. John Fox with Tim Tebow. He doesn't arrogantly think he can fit ill conceived pieces into his system. McDaniels hasn't shown the ability to do this.
