Dear ClanRams,
We look forward to welcoming you back to the Edward Jones Dome as we host the Chicago Bears on Sunday, November 24 with kickoff set for 12 p.m. As we anticipate this game being one of our highest attended games in recent years, we’re encouraging all fans to arrive early at the gates to avoid lines and delays prior to kickoff. The doors to the Edward Jones Dome will open at 10:30 a.m.
Below is an overview of the various promotions and entertainment for this Sunday. For all of your complete gameday information, please click HERE.
Rams to Host Salute to Service Game
Sunday’s game is the Rams’ designated Salute to Service game and players will be wearing on-field apparel including hats, sweatshirts, gloves, captain patches and camouflaged towels. The Rams Cheerleaders will also be outfitted in camouflage. As part of the Salute to Service campaign, for every point scored during the NFL’s 32 designated Salute to Service games, the National Football League will donate $100 to each of its three core, military non-profit partners – the Pat Tillman Foundation, USO and the Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) – for a total of $300 per point. Last year, the first year of the campaign, the NFL donated nearly $800,000 as a result of the Salute to Service campaign.
Rams to Celebrate Green Week
Presented by team partners Meridian Waste, Ameren Missouri, Monsanto, Metro Lighting, Buildingstars, Microgrid Solar and Metro Transit-St. Louis, the St. Louis Rams Green Week efforts will culminate on Sunday. As part of the Green Game, the Rams have offset 100% of the electricity used at the Edward Jones Dome for the game using Missouri wind energy credits from Ameren Missouri Pure Power. Along with the electricity, the Rams have also offset all fan travel to and from the Edward Jones Dome as well as Chicago Bears’ flight in and out of the city with carbon offsets.
Rams fans are encouraged to visit the Green Expo at the Bud Light Tailgate Party at Baer Park. The Green Expo will feature products and services from many of St. Louis’ green-minded companies.
Mathews-Dickey Boys’ & Girls’ Club to Host Collection Outside the Edwards Jones Dome
Volunteers from Mathews-Dickey Boys’ and Girls’ Club will be positioned outside the Edward Jones Dome entrances hosting a collection for the Club’s school-based initiative, “It’s Better to Educate than to Incarcerate.” Mathews-Dickey President, CEO and Co-Founder Martin Mathews launched the campaign at the Club’s 53rd Anniversary celebration earlier this year. The goal of the program is to keep young people on the right side of the law by achieving success in the classroom. In recognition for all that Mr. Mathews has contributed to the St. Louis community, he will serve as the team’s Kia “Starter of the Game” and be recognized on the field prior to player introductions.
St. Louis Rams Official Bud Light Tailgate Party at Baer Park
On Sunday at 9 a.m., Aaron Kamm and the One Drops will take the stage of the Official Bud Light Tailgate Party at Baer Park, which is located on Broadway directly across from the Edward Jones Dome. Fans can also enjoy appearances from Rams Cheerleaders and reduced pricing on food and beverages as well as an interactive kids’ corner. 100 percent of proceeds from the Destination Dessert Truck stationed at Baer Park will benefit the Center for Head Injuries and Autism. Baer Park will also feature a mobile team store where Rams merchandise will be available for purchase, including NFL-approved all-clear Rams tote bags.
The tailgate party will extend to the McGuire lot located north of the Edward Jones Dome and the Trailway’s lot located at Broadway and Lucas. Rams partners Russo’s Catering and Sub Zero Vodka Bar will be offering on-site vending of their products at the McGuire lot and Trailway’s lot respectively and Bud Light Build A Bar will be offering reduced price beer specials at all three lots.
With the Thanksgiving Holiday quickly approaching, I would also like to take this opportunity to wish you and yours a safe and happy Thanksgiving next week. Until then, we’ll look forward to seeing you at the Edward Jones Dome on Sunday!
Go Rams!
