Solomon impressing coaching staff

Rams | Solomon impressing coaching staff
Sun, 28 May 2006 17:48:24 -0700

FoxSports.com reports St. Louis Rams rookie free agent WR Clinton Solomon impressed coaches at the team's rookie minicamp, and also stood out because he's 6-3, 214 pounds. Said Solomon, who went to Iowa, "I'm going to pick every person's brain that I can, stay in the playbook and learn as much as I can. What a great opportunity I have, to be around WRs Torry Holt and Isaac Bruce. Just to learn from those guys, to work on technique and mechanics, I couldn't be in a better situation.

Re: Solomon impressing coaching staff

I'll give this guy his dues he's making all the right noises, as they say!!. Correct me if I am wrong but Solomon was one of the guys we picked up after the draft?. It's going to be tough for him to get a spot on the roster with who we have, but with his size and hopefully what he's showing he could be a good addition, if he makes it. It will be interesting to see how he develops. I wish the guy all the best for the future, hopefully with the Rams.

Re: Solomon impressing coaching staff

does he have anything else going for him?
is he a good return man?
does he stand out in ST's ?

if not then his future will more than likely be with another team.

UNLESS - he has an absolute stormer of a pre season
