Re: Some interesting Rams-related Tweets
Only one hurry and one penalty for Hunter? I can't recall Jason Smith playing that well for 54 snaps. Then again I can't recall Smith playing 54 snaps without suffering a concussion.

Something has to be said for good coaching I guess... our O line is a mess and still is playing better then last year. I don't think it's an accident that Ray Sherman has our receivers playing so much better, I don't think we've had a dropped ball.

Does anyone else find it humorous that Legatron is nominated for rookie of the week over many of those "stars" that were playing at QB, HB, WR, etc.

Re: Some interesting Rams-related Tweets
Letting go of two veteran kickers an relying on two rookies was a gamble that really seems to be paying off. I wonder what the cap savings is as a result of these two moves.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: Some interesting Rams-related Tweets
I LOVE this gamble because it not only did it free up cap space like you said, but also because these guys are getting the experience and growing in the NFL as the weeks go by. I like Greg Zuerlein, but this is no disrespect at all to Johnny Hekker. The ability to pin opponents deep in their own territory or just boot a long kick in general is invaluable in this league and very important. As far as the cap savings go, I don't know the exact savings, but I know it must be a good amount because last time I checked, we were paying Josh Brown and Donnie Jones a good bit of change, despite DJ being worth it, Josh Brown was a free agent bust who just didn't bring to the Rams what he gave the Seahawks.
