    Some post game thoughts

    - Steven Jackson had another 100 yard game, scoring a touchdown.

    - 15 yards away from having 1,000 on the season, for the 6th consecutive year.

    - Sam Bradford still impressive, although not his best outing.

    - 2 Weeks ago we had 0 wins on the road, and now we won the last 2.

    - Defense once again played lights out.

    - 2nd game this year that the defense didn't allow a touchdown.

    - Na'ill Diggs will be lost for the season with a torn pectoral muscle....bummer.

    - Laurent Robinson has picked up his play in the last few weeks.

    - Craig Dahl, Fred Robbins, Steven Jackson, and Bradley Fletcher had great games.

    - Gilyard is still disappointing, and wouldn't be surprised to see him gone next season.

    - Were playing meaningful games in December, geez its been a long time huh?

    - We wear older uniforms, and prevail with a win. Time to start wearing them more often?

Anyway, I look just about done here. I think we need to step it up this weekend against the Saints. We gotta teach those suckers a lesson for messing with the Rams. We need to get pressure early and often. Force Brees into a mistake. Also, we have to have long good drives. Wear out their defense and keep Brees off the field.

    LETS GO RAMS!

Gilyard hasnt seen the field how is he disappointing?

He hasnt had a target thrown his way since the SD game week 6.

He has been targeted the same amount that mark clayton did in ONE game. Gilyard has been targeted 16 times and has 6 catches for 63 yards. Mark Clayton was target 16 times for 10 catches 119 yards to Ari. And again vs sea he was targeted 14 times for 5 catches and 72 yards.

So I don't think he is being given a chance here if you look at the numbers from just one player alone.

Like Rockin said, thats the disappointing part.... When he is on the field, hes not a factor at all. And not even that, HE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO LINE UP! How can you defend him? A couple of weeks ago Laurent wasn't making plays and we all said he is most prone to be let go in the offseason, but hes stepped his game up and is know doing good. Not like Gilyard, who'd get a chance if he had a clue about what he is doing..

You're telling me Mark Clayton came here what 6 days before the first game? And he had 100+ yards...Same as Danario...he came here late and picked it up quickly...all the other rookies on the team got it too...he clearly isn't dedicated enough right now because I am sure you can learn some X's and O's in 9 months..

    Re: Some post game thoughts

    i`ll add some more..

Brandon Gibson is stepping his game up and making some great catches.

yet again we showed that we can tough it up and rebound in a game that at one point early on didn`t look good.

after being gashed for a few big runs early on our run D showed up big and it wasn`t because we were too far ahead that they had to abandon the run..they tried, they got stuffed.

they done a decent job of containing Long and Laurinaitis but not for the first time this season, overs stepped up in their place.

the scoreline in the end flattered them not us.

the interior of the Cards D-line look like they could cause us some serious trouble over the coming years..we need to combat that by getting a stronger interior of our O-line. it isn`t too much of a problem at present as they don`t have much else..but it`s certainly something we shouldn`t ignore.

Hopefully Bartell is ok to play the Saints on sunday..we gonna need as many fit DB`s as possible.

with Diggs out for the year now, hopefully the old problems we had for many years with TE`s won`t resurface.
