Someone needs fired over the game last night!!!!!!!!!!
Like seriously, are we paying Salas to look like a pile of!@#$. Rooky or no Rooky, that was the worst display of non-football talent I ever saw. It was wretched, pathetic, awful, pitiful and just plain sad. Look guys not only were we contenders in that game, but we should have won. We were far better than the New York foot in mouth Giants and Salas shot us in the foot. He single handedly kept them in the game all by himself. Like, he should be proud of his achievement. He played so bad that he gave bad a whole new meaning. He not only dropped passes, he flat out refused to catch them at all, like it was his whole purpose in life to suck that bad. OMG! Was he playing hot potato? Did everyone get a different playbook than him? Did Bradford go to him and say, “Dude whatever you do, don’t catch this first down pass.” Did Spags go to him and say, “Look man, if you catch this pass we are all dead.” Was he shaving points? Was he on the take? Where did we find this guy and can we return him? Can someone explain this?

Dont get me wrong, he had a terrible game and by no means am I trying to make excuses for his horrendous play, but hes been in the NFL for what, 2-3 months? Give the rookie a break. I guess I understand why no-one on this board is a GM....some people have no patience and its just ridiculous. What about his positives? At least he can get on the field. He seems to be dedicated and has learned a very big and difficult to learn playbook. He was thrown out there because of Amendola's injury and was nervous.

Come on, now, you know better than that. Salas hardly distinguished himself and certainly hurt the Rams with the fumble but he had plenty of company. Eight penalties, poor red zone offense, a costly turnover on the lateral and a lousy rushing game did them in.

I think someone needs sobered up (sic), not needs fired.
Re: Someone needs fired over the game last night!!!!!!!!!!
The dropped punt was inexcusable, I'll agree on that. However, the first down catch he dropped near the end zone was not an easy play to make, and I'm willing to cut him a little slack. Should a seasoned veteran make that play? Absolutely. But I credit that drop to a well timed hit by the defense, not a drop on Salas. The other notable drop near the end of the game was a ball he should catch. Yes, it wasn't the best throw, but it needs to be caught. That being said, there's no need to send him to the guillotine because of last night's game. Players have bad games. Let the young man have a chance to redeem himself.

Do I qualify for unemployment?
Re: Someone needs fired over the game last night!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously, should Spags get fired then? I dont think so. But other threads are saying that and more.
Re: Someone needs fired over the game last night!!!!!!!!!!
It wasn't the first muffed punt in the history of the NFL and it won't be the last.
His performance was sad but so was the fact that the Rams had to put him in that situation. A fourth round pick that hasn't played a real NFL game should not be "needed" in a MNF game plan.
We are still going in the right direction and the rebuild is working but we are still in the phase that can make the loss of one player (Amendola) really spotlight our lack of depth.
Re: Someone needs fired over the game last night!!!!!!!!!!
You probably wouldn't make a good GM, Scout or Coach, but you're a damned good comedian. LMAO!!!
Re: Someone needs fired over the game last night!!!!!!!!!!
man, after that game, you gotta have a sense of humor.
Re: Someone needs fired over the game last night!!!!!!!!!!
Heck I'll take a muffed punt this game if Salas learns the ropes and uses this to our benefit the rest of the season! You guys see that one return he did in traffic? Not bad at all says I....
Re: Someone needs fired over the game last night!!!!!!!!!!
Rookie or no rookie, you're in the NFL for a reason, so hopefully you can make catches. There were some drops that were inexcusable.
With that being said, Salas was definitely not the only reason we lost, but he did play a big part. This whole team needs to step it up physically, and mentally...
Re: Someone needs fired over the game last night!!!!!!!!!!
No one should be fired just replaced..id say salas should be on the kickoff squad and let the other rookie return punts... Who thinks Kendricks should step his game up and start becoming Bradfords new favorite target??
