I posted something similar to this earlier, I got a bad feeling about it, however I am not going to be crying the end of the world if we dont get him. I got faith we will bring in the right person regardless.

I feel like if Fisher truly has hesitations about coaching here, whether it be location, the roster, the organization or whatever, then it is in our best interest not to try to persuade him to coach here with offering him more and more money.

Honestly, I'd rather have a coach who has no hesitations to coach here and would LOVE to be here.

    This to me is key.

I'm pretty turned off by what appears to be press leaks on behalf of Fisher by 'well placed sources'.Now we all know that ordinarily they're as well placed as an ice cube in a glass of single malt but if there's anything in it all I'm disappointed in Fisher.

Give me someone who wants to come here and who has a vision about what to do when he gets here than someone who was more content to play leverage in the press.

Beggars can't be choosers, we have talent here that we can build on, an obscenely wealthy owner and a Stadium that wants to be full if only we can give them competitive football.

No need to beg, he doesn't want to come here then we move on.

Yeah, but I was responding to the distance GC posted, because, well, I'm pretty much a smartass. A well meaning smartass though.

I agree, and his supposed indifference towards Bradford bothers me. It seems a bit premature.

Money talks and apparently, so does Josh McDaniels. Interesting.

Lets not read to much into the tweets... The Rams may not think he is the right guy after they interview him.

I've said somewhere else I think its manure and my point is that I don't think that Fisher is the one and only saviour of the franchise because he isn't.

Did Jeff Fisher supposedly say he wasn't keen on Bradford today. ??

No, it was from a 'source' Mike Silver who is supposedly close to Fisher.

He later clarified his remarks .

It was first reported that Fisher didn't "love" Bradford, but later clarified that he didn't care about Bradford one way or another. Fisher seems to like mobile, athletic QB's and I'll bet he has visions of building a franchise aroung RGlll.

If he turned down this job for Miami because he wanted RG3 then I'd trade the pick to Cleveland or Washington just to spite him. If I were the Rams owner I mean, which I obviously am not. Perhaps a good thing.

That's funny because I seem to remember him wanting to draft Matt Leinart over Vince Young, but the owner veteod it. Unless of course, he's changed his tune.

Oh, and that successful coach came within one foot of potentially tying the Super Bowl.
Actually, it was about 9 feet from tying the SB.
