Spags Needs Road Win Next Week

Haven't had a road win since Nov. 1, 2009 @ Detroit. Tampa Bay will really define Spags ability to win on the road. I haven't really paid attention to the Bucs. Thoughts?

My thoughts are that I'm going to relish this win for a day or two before thinking about next Sunday!

Bucs got shutdown by the Saints but I'd proceed with caution as they'll come out with blood next week.

Bucs really struggle against the run but are very good against the pass. They aren't anything special on offense though. If this game was at home I'd have full confidence in a win. On the road it's going to be tough. Although if we can limit the run(Which we should be able to) and pin our ears back and get after the qb we should make this competitive. I think we take it but who knows.

Re: Spags Needs Road Win Next Week

The Bucs started off looking pretty good overall, but did get shutdown by a hungry Saints team today. They are better than most people thought they would be, and at 3-2 they are still very much alive for their division.

If the same Rams team shows up today I would feel very good about a win. If it is the team that, well, didn't show up against Detroit it could be pretty ugly.

Either way, I don't see either team being favored by more than 3 points... which may go to TB since they are at home. Then again, the Rams seem to have found a possible stud WR in Alexander, who should only get better and better with Bradford each week.

he's proven he can win at home this season, but has yet to get a win on the road.

But this one out of the next 6 is the defining one? I don't get this "this game will define spags" thing.

I dont get what this guy is saying either, but this game will NOT define Spags as a head coach; I dont even know where you are getting this from. I will say this though: Spags needs to start winning on the road or it could start to be a bad trend for him as well. But seriously guy, one game? No SIR. Its not that bad. Its just that we need to start winning on the road if we want to take that NEXT step in improving to a good team status. Right now we are up and down and its hard to say which team will show up.

A heavy dose of a healthy JAX should do the trick against the Bucs. Seattle used their newly aquired RB, Marshawn Lynch to help them get the win today. Pound the ball with JAX, like the Rams did the final 2:00 minutes against the Chargers. It was beautiful how Steven Jackson closed out the BOLTS! Lets keep it going against the BUCS!!!

I love the way we are playing. Just stick with our gameplan and we should be fine for next week.

For some reason, a few people are obsessed with making this declaration. Either every week defines his career or the front office hasn't done enough to get enough talent in here quick enough.. It's boring and repetitive.

We have significant advantages all over the field in this matchup ...

I just want to see the Rams play competitively on the road, win or lose ...

Progress is defined in many ways ...
