Is spags trying to win games?

I mean really i stopped watching the game after the crabtree TD cuz i just cant stand being disappoint every single sunday.

All this is in the 1st half:

We kept trying to run up the middle vs. the best run D

We throw a silly screen on 3rd and 13

We run on 2nd and 25, and 3rd and 23 wen we are still in the game

Spags keeps sending King out there even thou he keeps failing miserably

I mean wat is spags trying to do with this offense? He defiantly has say in the offense because look at what Josh McD did with matt cassel the back up qb......Spags is not Kronke's guy

If we fire spags and let McD become interim do we have anything to lose except games that spags will lose anyway?

If he is trying to win games, then this is a whole new approach...

I would never question a coach's integrity. Every guy tries to win, Spags included. What I DO QUESTION is his ability as a head coach.

I think Spags is going to be fired in the AM so its just a matter of who we make interim.

I like this, because it would give us a head start on our HC.

I think of course he is trying to win. However, i think his philosophy of how to try and win a game is to keep it close into the fourth quarter and then try to either get lucky or just make a play or two, rather than being aggressive to try and win. I think under the truth drug, spags would admit that he has no confidence in our offensive line and that massively impacts the types of plays he thinks are appropriate. He has no confidence we can even convert in short yardage any longer.

He is definitely trying to win,he just isnt very good at being a head coach frankly. He seems content in putting our def out there all day and hoping they score 20 points....like WTF seriously. It shows that he has influenced MCD play calling and has told him play it safe.

Re: Is spags trying to win games?

If Spags gets fired its because.....

Josh McDaniels--yes a lot of people where excited to acquire him; I was one of the few negative voices expressing doubt. But many pointed out the hits Brandford was taking with his new spread offense during preseason. I still doubt the Rams have the depth and talant to run it.

I still hate to say it but the Rams still should have taken A. Suh and gotten C. McCoy in the 2nd round over bradford. Granted Suh has his issues but the Rams needed leadership at defense. Bradford might have had the better skill sets then McCoy for more immediate use, but then who was Bradford going to throw the ball too when he got on the team. Further McCoy has more charisma and certainly better skills then Tebow who by the way is winning games. Plus with Suh on the line that would have worked well with Long jr.

Football fundimentals are certainly missing on the Rams team. Without question the Rams ougth to have betten the Giants and Cardnals games if it where not for break downs in the basics. Thats all Spags doings there.

To he realistic a lot of these issues result from a transition in ownership struggles and the lockout. But one needs to just look at the 49-whinners and how they turned it around....its almost the very same team from last year. Or look at the Cardnals, with the exception of a new QB its the same team.

    So--does Spags need to go---

Spags is 10-34 as a HC in the NFL. Period. Winning matters in NFL
