    ON THIS DATE (MAY 21, 1927), CHARLES A. LINDBERGH LANDED HIS 'SPIRIT OF ST. LOUIS' NEAR PARIS, COMPLETING THE FIRST SOLO AIRPLANE FLIGHT ACROSS THE ATLANTIC OCEAN.
    8O YEARS LATER, THE SAINT LOUIS RAMS ARE BEGINNING TO TAKE FLIGHT OF THE 2006 SEASON, ACROSS THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE, IN THE HOPES OF COMPLETING FLIGHT SOMEWHERE NEAR MIAMI (SB XLI).

    THE SPIRIT OF ST. LOUIS LIVES ON!
