Enjoy them while you have them because in 2015 it will be very very quite on openning day at this venue.
Because that will be the day of the unveiling of the Rams new stadium down the road right by Busch Stadium!

So the CVC is saying you have to play all your home games at the Edward Jones Dome! ...unless the lease is cancelled.

Are they wanting the Rams to cancel the lease?

I find it hard to believe that Kroenergraph was unaware of his obligation to keep homefield revenues based at the SpecialEd Dome. Personally, I suspect he found the attraction of playing some games in Arsenal's stomping grounds too good to pass up. If he didn't act quickly it might have been up to five years before he could have proposed getting his Rams to London.

Negotiating ploys aside, I'm afraid that Stan-Lee just had one of his tells revealed. CVC may have called and even won the hand (they'll get compensatory picks, I mean compensatory damages), but the chips are stacked on Stan-Lee's side. What is interesting is how AEG reads this hand.

If Stan-Lee is showing that he isn't much concerned with what the CVC thinks, the question becomes how much leverage does AEG thinks it has in extracting an equity position from Marvelous Stan-Lee??

Well, the Rams can't very well break lease and move before next season. In fact, all three of these games will conveniently be played before the end of the 2014 season. Kroenke can't move the team until after the end of the 2014 season.

As long as this remains a press statement and not an actual lawsuit, I'm not going to be too alarmed about it.
