Re: Starting Corner draft pick
Tye Hill is going to be one of those cornerbacks whose side you dont want to throw too
for example not many QB's throw to champ baileys side...
I see Tye becoming like that

Including the separate batch for McCollum and Timmerman?

Nice, haven't heard that one before.

Most fans I heard from elsewhere thought Jones at that point in the draft (over Rolle and even Rogers to an extent) was a reach.

Re: Starting Corner draft pick
I think the difference between Jones and Hill is (as ramhard pointed out) was Jones return experience and Jones is supposed to have better hands. However, Jones was a chemistry problem right out of the gate on a team that DOES NOT allow chemistry problems. And even with his "better" hands, he managed a grand total of ZERO picks last year and fumbled 5 returns.
So bottomline (other than what a gamble the draft is), Hill can be every bit as successful, if not more, than Jones."Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod
