    As I predicted, accurately of course!, a 27-7 score I don't see why Davis won't be given a few touches to both spell Jackson thus keep his legs fresh and to see how he is grasping the system.

    that's correct on youre thinking. davis will only play if the score gets out of hand or jackson proves ineffective on the goal line.:r

    I see him being utilized in short yardage situations. Third and two's and goal line plays. Pretty much exactly what Carolina did with him last year. When I heard that we signed him I knew (like I'm sure we all did) that he was going to be the Rams short yardage back. Effectively upgrading the postion from Moe Williams. I think he had like twelve TD's last year before going down with injury. That is two more TD's than when he was in his prime and the Panthers went to the Super Bowl. I would look to Fish to provide relief for Jackson and Davis to come in when we need a couple of yards.

    I wouldn't be surprised if they use him in a two back set with Jackson.
