I went to my first "home" Rams game yesterday and Steven "ACTION" Jackson is a beast! This guy plays with fire & passion.When the Rams were being introduced he was the last one out of the tunnel high-stepping, screaming and trying to fire up his teammates and the Rams fans that were there. He can get better on blitz pick ups thats the one knock on him but as a RB there are few who are better. I agree lock him in to an extension now and trade down if someone wants Mcfadden or draft Chris Long or Dorsey and make our improving defense potentially a dominant force. I dont however really like the thought of using a first rounder on Jake Long who IMO will be a good player but not great in the NFL,fix the O-Line in the later rounds IMO.

I say brake the bank, who on our team is more vauable. He is sounding very frustrated, I wonder if he would want to re-sign with the rams. I would not be surprise if he ask out of st lou.

That would suck if he asks out of St.Louis. Hopefully he sticks with us.

We shouldn't think about drafting McFadden, because we got one, already proven! Simply, he's Ram all over, I can't imagine us without him! Also, without him, we would score 0 points Any Given Sunday! Sign, Sign, Sign!!!

It's going to come down to money. Howard Balzer made a good point. Jackson will be in his contract year next season. The Rams right now are sitting at #2 and have a very good chance at McFadden. If the Rams could trade Jackson and still get McFadden, that wouldn't be such a bad thing.

you may have a point there but if he comes back to St. Louis he can be the man,I think if he continues to play like he does he can be the Albert Pujols of St. Louis football,if he goes elsewhere maybe not as much,I think Jackson loves the spotlight and a big city would suit him but being a hugh star in a smaller city can be rewarding also.

Dallas wants McFadden real bad. They have 2 first round picks this year. Take those and there next 2yrs. #1 picks. I say take Jake Long, re-sign Jackson.

if my math is right thats 4-#1 picks for the right to draft McFadden, do you think the Cowboys want him that bad,thats a hugh price for an unproven rookie.

As far as SJ is concerned, frustration can dissappear as quickly as it appeared if the team can turn things around.

Drafting McFadden with so many other more pressing needs (RB isn't one of those needs) is not only stupid, it's completely irresponsible. If you want to insure SJs departure and deepen his frustration with this organization, then by all means draft McFadden. NOT A GOOD MOVE!!!!

If Chris Long is available when we pick, I'd be pretty happy. The apple hasn't fallen far from the tree with this kid. His dad, Howie, has got to be real proud of his son. If he has a career like his dad did, we'll be happy fans for years to come.

I would make that trade,SJ is great, but how much will he cost? Anyone have an idea 80Mil -100Mil what is he going to want? When a DB can get 80Mil what will he cost?
