Steven Jackson, 4th in the nfl in yards from scrimmage...

With only 6 games played! The other 7 members of the top 8 haven't had their bye yet.

Jackson, with 767 yards, is 122 behind the league leader Clinton Portis. But he does lead the league in yards per game, with 127.8 (just ahead of portis with 127.0).

Just get another 150 or so yards vs the pats and he'll be fine

He deserved it..I do have to wonder if some of the past games could have been a little more interesting if he'd been in camp and been in football shape to start the year

As the Cowboys are America's team, bull "cought" it. The Rams are the opposite. Don't expect them to get any props.

I said this in a previous thread, but Jackson is simply put, the ALPHA-back in this league. There is not another back that has his versatility. I mean seriously, when have you ever, and I mean, EVER, saw a 6-4, 240 lbs back turn a sweep play, or a "nuisance" play, as Saunders calls it, be patient, hit the hole, and bust it for a 56 yard TD? That is just sick ...

Maybe next year when Beanie Wells comes out. I get to see all his games, and he reminds me a lot of Steven Jackson.

He deserves the money we paid him. Build the team around SJax.
