Is Steven Jackson an "All-Time Rams Great"?

Has Steven Jackson reached the point where he can be regarded as one of the "All-Time Great" Ram players? The type of guy you consider for the "Ring of Fame" and mention in the same sentence as HOFs like Marshall Faulk and Eric Dickerson?

He is one of our alltime great players but I wouldn't put him in the Ring Of Fame yet.

I'd have to go with yes. What has he not accomplished besides a ring? His statistics are better than any other Rams RB, yes he beats Marshall Faulk and Eric Dickerson. Not sure if he is better but he is already our all-time highest rusher. I think he will have 3 more 1,000 yard seasons which would put him at about 11,000 for his career. The only thing he needs to be considered into the NFL's HOF is touchdowns and a couple playoff appearances.

Five years after he hangs up his cleats Jackson will be lost in a pile of stats and political agendas. Heart and class don't outweigh winning.

how far down the rankings do you go before you stop calling a player an All-Time franchise great?

Dickerson and Faulk are all-time NFL greats who are in the Hall of Fame. Since they were Rams arguably in their prime, that's who Jackson will be compared to. IMO to break into the all-time greats of the franchise, you MUST be in the NFL Hall of Fame and Jackson isn't in those reaches. Statistically, Jackson is very similar to a Garrison Hearst.
