I agree, I think Pead is going to have a big year. With a little less dancing behind the line, and hopefully some fresh talent blocking for him (Loadholt, Warmack, Cooper, Fluker???), I expect him to be the Rams first home-run threat back since Marshall Faulk

This sucks, I can't cheer for him in another jersey.

But the question becomes, do we need a feature back? Of the top 10 rushing offenses in the league last year, only 3 were in the top 10 for overall offense.

I think a RB-by-committee with Pead, Rich, and Ganaway will serve the purpose for this offense, if used right.
jmk321, sosa39rams and Haste like this.

We play the Falcons next year so that would be an interesting game for sure.

    This.

Adrian Peterson just had possibly the best season for an RB in NFL history and the Vikings were only ranked 14th in points and 20th in yards. Having a great workhorse RB is not important for NFL success anymore and spending lots of money or wasting a high draft pick on one is not very smart either. The Rams had one of the best RB's in the league for the last 6 years and that lead to hardly any offensive success.
