Steven Jackson rushed 24 times for 48 yards

If we have a shot to win next week, we need to come out and put up some points. Its not going to happen on the ground. The O-line is not making any holes in fact they where getting no push Sunday.


First down we run for two yards more often then not, come out and throw the ball. We will have a better chance, throwing on first then, power I formation for two yards and a cloud of dust.

We need to come out Sunday Night and Pass first, early an often if we are going to win. Go no huddle and set the tempo. The Hawks give up a lot of points and for us to go in there and try and grind out a win will be the end for sure.


Just my two cents worth, glad we won Sunday, but we have enough skill at WR to put the ball in the air and stretch the field.

the interior of our line hasn't been getting a push all year. I know a lot of people are blaming Jackson for his decreased production but it seems like our line is the real reason he's struggling. We really need to upgrade our talent at the g/c position in the draft and free agency.

The O line didn't open up many holes, but some of those short runs were at the end of the half and end of the game when the Rams were essentially trying to just run out the clock.

I expect Jackson will have a big week in Seattle.

The ***** are also one of the better run blocking teams in the league.

^This. NFL.com has them ranked as the number 7 team in the NFL against the run. Combine that with our interior line's lack of push and it all adds up to not a lot of yardage.

I just hope that next time it starts going like it did against the whiners that they'll do more sweeps, screens, and end runs. Those were much more successful against the whiners and my one complaint about the playcalling against them was they didn't do more of it.
