Steven Jackson Wants us to Pick An OL with 2nd Pick.
Sjax was on espn earlier and he said if we stayed where we were he wanted us to Go Oline with the 2nd pick, he also said he wanted to trade down though and "Get More Bang For Our Bucks" he also went on to say he WILL get 2,500 total yards this year.

Well, he sure has the talent to get those yards but regardless that is a tough feat. Good luck SJax, make some history my man.

Re: Steven Jackson Wants us to Pick An OL with 2nd Pick.
How about this from Sjax, " I hope to stay on the field for every game in 2008". "I will refuse to come out of any game on 3rd down to catch my breath". " I pledge to work hard and lead by example". " I hope my offensive line can stay healthy this year so this offensive playmakers can make plays".
This is what I want to hear from Jsax !!!!

Re: Steven Jackson Wants us to Pick An OL with 2nd Pick.
S-Jax runs and plays hard. Running 15 yards at full speed ahead. He's not the only RB to do it. I don't question his work ethic or fitness. It's not like he's the only one to get hurt this year.
I agree with S-Jax. I've been in the Jake Long court for awhile, though it's become increasingly and increasingly less popular. But obviously, S-Jax doesn't trust the health of this offensive line either.
I think the Rams will end up drafting a d-lineman when it's all said and done though. Unless Saunders has some major pull.

Re: Steven Jackson Wants us to Pick An OL with 2nd Pick.
Anyone think he is pledging to work harder and achieve 2,500 yards from scrimmage because it might be that he is a UFA in 2009? That is obviously incentive for him. He wants to get paid, and I expect nothing but amazing things from him this season.

This sums it up...How about this from Sjax, " I hope to stay on the field for every game in 2008". "I will refuse to come out of any game on 3rd down to catch my breath". " I pledge to work hard and lead by example". " I hope my offensive line can stay healthy this year so this offensive playmakers can make plays".

Re: Steven Jackson Wants us to Pick An OL with 2nd Pick.
I am Confident.. I don't know why.. but i just fill with saunders on board linehan wont fill obligated to run the offense. olsen was a special teams coordinator i think.. it may have been a qb coach at detroit.. can't remember. anyway our players on offense will want to play hard for him. I have faith that Haslett will continue to fix our D. If all this happens Just remember that P Money said it in January. Nice Day To All.

Re: Steven Jackson Wants us to Pick An OL with 2nd Pick.
We could have a really good Oline if we just stayed healthy...

Re: Steven Jackson Wants us to Pick An OL with 2nd Pick.
Our OL is average at best when healthy. I'm torn between Chris and Jake Long...this draft is really deep at OL and OT specifically so I think getting Chris Long would be pretty good.
