Re: Steven Jackson's contract
Thanx RamsFan16. You know what that means? I do. That means we need to get him to sign an extension soon. Hes the most indispensable player we have and will have for a while, and hes so young.

Re: Steven Jackson's contract
What it really means is that if he has another big year, we talk extension at the end of next season.

Re: Steven Jackson's contract
Jackson will get extended in the middle of next year once this years cap has been settled and eveyone has been signed.
He doesn't hit the last year of his deal.

Re: Steven Jackson's contract
We already extended Bulger signed him to a six year deal b4 last season.... they need to get JAX deal done now b4 he has a monster season (like he will if he stays healthy all year) cuz the price is just gonna sky rocket. U cant fool around with ur franchise player!!!

Re: Steven Jackson's contract
It might also be when we have the most leverage on him. If he seems unreasonable you take Mcfadden in the draft and trade Jackson for a defensive end.

Re: Steven Jackson's contract
Man I hope we sign Jackson to a long term deal. He's been a great part of this team. And Everytime he plays, the offense seems better, losing him will be difficult for the Rams.
