The article doesn't spell it out... But Boudreau was fired in JAX before it was known Tice was available as an OL coach or that he would take the job.

Former Minnesota Vikings coach Mike Tice could have found a landing spot.
Tice was in Jacksonville on Monday to meet with Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio, and is believed to be the leading candidate to become the team's offensive line coach.
Del Rio hasn't made an announcement yet, but the team fired offensive line coach Paul Boudreau last week, according to sources.
After interviewing for the New York Jets head coaching job a few weeks back, Tice was left without a job when the Jets opted for Eric Mangini.
