    Sunday Night Football...

This thread is about nfc west so it pertains to the rams. That was an intense, hard hitting game... whats crazy about both teams I observed was the obvious hatred for one another. The rams will have to have their absolute A-games going on against these teams but tbese teams will play smash mouth all game... I feel we have yet to see that intense in your face tenacity that we saw from the defense last year. Our defense seems like its missing something.

Seattle looked scary! Then again, that happens IN Seattle. I agree about our defense. Does not seem as good as last year...So far. Well, except maybe Quinn. It's hard to say though, still too early. I'm really hoping for more action from them next week.

Our defense is designed to deal with the Shesquawks and Whiners. I'm not too worried, but our offense can't afford to trail behind if they manage to put points on the board.

    Re: Sunday Night Football...

If we do the things we're capable of doing, we can beat either of those teams. If we commit an abundance of penalties, give up big plays for TDs, spot teams big leads and play stupid ball, we won't win. Sounds obvious, but it's really that simple.

And not for nothing- beating Seattle and SF isn't enough. We saw that last season. We need to bring it every week- beating the teams we SHOULD beat and playing well and hoping to steal a couple vs teams a little better than we are.
