Superbowl 36 Rams vs Patriots
It's that time of year where I get to watch the Rams Lose SB 36 on NFL network. Still can't understand how the #1 Rated offense lost to the number #24 defense..???? I know it's old news, but still hard to think of what could have been. Blasted cheaters.

Because they were hitting our receivers illegally.

Patriots shouldn't have even been in the game. Who knows what the NFL would be like today if it wasn't for the tuck rule.

Re: Superbowl 36 Rams vs Patriots
Maybe because we were the 32nd ranked defense?
I'm watching it right now...ugh, not as nice as watching the 1999 SB.

Actually the rams were the 3rd ranked defense. I remember turnovers deciding the game.

I just remember crying when we lost that game- hey I was young lay off
Always brings back memories of my sister's boyfriend all dressed up in Pats gear and cheering the entire time. Dang band wagon fan. No one liked the Pats back then.

I watched the replay on NFL Network last night right up until the RAMS tied the score. I then shot it off!!! I wasn't going to torture myself again.
TOM BRADY getting the MVP of that game still irks me to no end!

My thoughts exactly. I was there in person. Easily the most depressing sports memory for me. When replayed on TV, I can only watch up to Ricky Proehl's TD catch- I will NEVER EVER watch the final drive again. Too painful.

What I remember is Marshall Faulks jersey almost hanging to the ground they held him so much. He never had a chance to slide out into the flat.
THE BIGGEST CRACK POT CALL all game was the last play before vinateri came out for the game winner. I you watch it Brady is drug down
"IN BOUNDS" with no timeouts and the refs say he made it to the sideline and the clock was stopped.
Game should have gone to overtime!!!! GODDAMN BRADY LUVING REFS

Only watched certain parts of the game and alternated with King of the Hill.
I too stopped seeing it after Ricky Proehl scored the tying TD.

Re: Superbowl 36 Rams vs Patriots
Lovie Smith should have been FIRED after that last drive debacle of a defense. MY DEFENSE was fresh, had the patsies on their heels. AND HE GOES INTO PREVENT?????

Blame it on the coach! We didn't use Faulk until the 4th quarter.
