Take Bulger Out Now!!

Now there's a thought. The Rams have four tight ends on the roster. They should have at least three for a goaline offense, PLUS a fullback. With Leonard starting at halfback then we have to use a tight end for that. So if you release one tight end and just use a tackle as an extra tight end that would probably work.

Hate to put a hole in your theory, but we can get by as we are, AND release a TE, because we have five...count them...five tight ends on the active roster.

It's having a massive influence on me. For instance, on one of my fantasy teams, I now have an unbelievable 3 Tight Ends in Owen Daniels, Chris Cooley and LJ Smith. I'm thinking of developing the "TWO TIGHT ENDS AND A KICKER" strategy for novice users next year who are a little stuck in their first three rounds.

So why is it bad that Owens can play TE? You act like he is here to play TE. He is here to play FB, the fact that he can play TE is just a bonus. If we had signed someone who could only play TE then yes we would have 5 TEs, but since he is playing FB we have 4. With that said I am hoping we release a TE so that would make 3 TEs which would be normal.

The best players will play. If he's healthy enought to play and give us a fighting chance, then he should play.

I agree, this is football, you don't sit your quarterback in the 4th game of the season. His injuries aren't that bad and he says that they aren't a problem.

If it doesnt slow him down or affect his play, then of course let him play. That wasn't the case against Tampa though. imo.

If he is running scared to protect those ribs either consciously or subconsciously, we need to take him out. He does no good in that situation.

BTW, since when do you believe what a player says? They hardly ever admit how bad off they are. lol

This is truly an injustice to the fans to keep playing Bulger!!! Its obvious, HE'S HURT!!!!

Okay, I'm bumping this thread again. The Cowboy game drove my point home even further than I could ever do with words.

Bulger is not playing well. I'm sure it is because of his ribs. But man, this guy needs to sit. He is not the best person for our team right now. Not until he is back to normal.


You can blame only so much on play calling, so much on the defensive line, or so much on the receivers. But some of that, and I say quite a bit, looks to be Bulger not being healthy enough to deliver the ball where it needs to go.

p.s. I believe this is only because of injuries. I am not a bulger hater!
