Talking story with Denario Alexander (video).
Denario says he's healthy and is looking forward to playing the whole season. It would be a real bonus if he's able to play healthy for the first time in a long time ..

Great to hear he feels good with no qualifiers, and I love his confidence in saying he'll play the whole year, but he's got an uphill battle just to make the team. I've got to believe he'll get a shot while Pettis is out on suspension, and I really hope he lights it up and makes any decision to let him go a difficult one.

Re: Talking story with Denario Alexander (video).
There comes a point when the word "potential" becomes a poison pill. I cannot get overly enthused about Danario Alexander. I admire his perseverance in battling chronic injury, but he is not a guy that can be counted on to give us consistent, steady production at the position. The Rams need DEPENDABLE and PRODUCTIVE players at receiver. All others should be cast aside.

I would love to believe in DX but eventually you have to actually be able to stay on the field consistently not just say you can.Put up or shut up and at this point with our again log jam at WR i dont know if hes worth the risk to keep on the roster.

Re: Talking story with Denario Alexander (video).
I will take DX 40% of the time over Gibson and Pettis 100% of the time. Pettis and Gibson IMO cannot provide what DX brings to the table. In the redzone having Quick and DX in at the same time would be awesome vs Quick and Pettis. Having Quick, DX and Givens in some packages 3 and 4 sets would tough to defend.
DX does need to be healthy and ready to play, we don't need him to carry the load. Being the fourth or fifth reviver works for me. As long as he's healthy and ready to give us 15 or so plays a game.

Re: Talking story with Denario Alexander (video).
Man, I absolutely love DX. He is fun to watch, explosive, and he has heart. That is the kind of player I want to see on my favorite team. The injuries are a problem, and they will definitely have an affect on his fait with the team. If he says he is healthy at this point, my money is on him making the team; Danario is just too gifted to let go in order to keep someone like an Austin Pettis, or a Brandon Gibson.
