Re: Terrell Owens out SEVEN WEEKS!!!
Hey guys...just came over from Concretefield.net. I must say that i'm shocked to see all the TO hating from Rams fans. Of all the fans, you guys are some of the most respectable.
Then again, i'm sure i'd hate him if he wasn't on my team.
Anyway...just thought i'd come over and say hello and wish you guys luck Monday night. (not that you'll need it now)
I expect you guys to go vertical and beat our team by a touchdown, at least.
You still have a shot at the playoffs and this couldn't have come at a better time for y'all. So, good luck on MNF and we'll see you in the playoffs! :mask:

Re: Terrell Owens out SEVEN WEEKS!!!
All kidding aside, the reason most of us are TO haters is because he is a former Whiner.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: Terrell Owens out SEVEN WEEKS!!!
Well..i must say that i disliked him last year...especially when he came to Philly to play us.
But when i figured out he'd be a Free Agent...i hopped on the TO bandwagon. It's hard not to like him when he's your wrecking ball throughout the season.

Re: Terrell Owens out SEVEN WEEKS!!!
hey JT
I think most if not all the Ram fans have so far said that they wish no ill will on the Eagles, and in fact one said that they hoped the eagles won it all WITHOUT him.
I have to admit that I to would rather see the Eagles win the superbowl without TO
It would be just too hard to listen to on how he won the superbowl etc.

Re: Terrell Owens out SEVEN WEEKS!!!
I'm sure that we would hear about it until the end of time. However, i would like to at least see him on the field during the Super Bowl...even if he doesn't contribute more than a couple catches like this past Sunday.
After all he did for the Birds this season, he deserves to be on the field that day.
I like this forum..it's much more organized and i don't see all the personal attacks that you do on most other boards. Great job guys!!

Re: Terrell Owens out SEVEN WEEKS!!!
I am disappointed that TO is out. I have been waiting to see Andy Reid put on tights. TO made a bet that they would both wear tights if he got 15 touchdowns in the season. He is at 14 right now.
Having TO out will improve our chances in this game and I'll take it. We need every bit of good karma that we can find at this point.
Welcome to ClanRam JTrotterFan and good luck to the Eagles this season.

Re: Terrell Owens out SEVEN WEEKS!!!
Okay, let's look at it this way: since so many claim that they don't care who plays for the Rams, just that the Rams win, which wr would you take-Holt or Owens?
Also, Owens melting down at his OC on the sideline, at the time definitely rubbed me the wrong way. In hindsight though, look at what's happened to the *****. Not that the public display was appropriate, but maybe TO was frustrated with the ship sinking?
Also, where is the line drawn with td celebrations/antics? Joe Horn's cell phone for example. I didn't hate him after he pulled that stunt. I definitely didn't have the same reaction as when TO was pulling his stunts with SF. Is it possible that whatever borderline stuff that he does goes over the top with Rams fans because of his niner affiliation?

Maybe mok would have a bigger dislike for Owens if he had replaced Kurt Warner.

...that was pretty funny, though.Maybe mok would have a bigger dislike for Owens if he had replaced Kurt Warner
T.O. will never play for the Rams so who cares. I don't like the "throw me the ball more" selfishness, but the antics don't bother me. It makes the NFL fun to watch. Joe Horn can do his cell phone, and T.O. can grab the pom poms...more power to 'em.
and fyi: Jeff Garcia IS gay.

Merry Christmas to you too, Mok. To think, I was the one who was told not to take things so seriously.
