Terrible play calling

Olson is a boy among men. He has no creativity, he lacks any sort of nads for a big play. The first half of the Washington game is stale and predictable with one deep all half. Outside running in three receiver sets and under utilization of talented wide-outs against second rate d-backs. A complete joke. Oh, did I mention our soft defense that came back this week :x :\

I don't think I will make the trip to Minneapolis next week.

Re: Terrible play calling

In other news today, Bruce had a monster first half and Byrd caught his first pass and it went for a 27 yard TD.

Re: Terrible play calling

Olson just needs to go away next year. We need to be a bit more aggressive than we have been this year. We are what the Lion's offense was last year; boring, less successful and predictable...

Re: Terrible play calling

Now you can add in to the play calling. Conservative after gaining a tie and then a lead. DUMB

Re: Terrible play calling

Well I only seen the game from the second half and other than that silly kneel down before the field goal, I thought they did well ........ over 500 yards on offence ........... if thats conservative, give me conservative every single week

Re: Terrible play calling

Obvioiusly the kneel down was the plan for a 43 yardr FG. Rare miss by Wilkie! :\

So glad the Rams kept that last drive in OT alive!!! Stephen Davis on 3rd and 3.

Re: Terrible play calling

I didn't think the play calling was bad at all. Huge yardage totals and everybody got involved. Oh yeah, we won too.

Yeah, the play calling sucked, only 579 yards of total offense. How embarressing.

SavageRam - will become famous soon enough
Re: Terrible play calling

Offensive total yards: 579

Run/pass ratio: 39/38

Avg yds gained: 7.4

Net yds rushing: 197

Net yds passing: 382

Touchdown drives of: 85 yds, 83 yds, 82 yds, 69 yds, 39 yds.

Yup, the Rams OC sure did suck. But, if the OC play calling sucks like this every game, that's certainly fine with me.

Re: Terrible play calling

Hey,

I will say this every week if that is what is needed to get a victory out of this team.

We may have put up great numbers, but you have to admit some of the play calling was pretty shady, especially in the first half (when I orginally posted this message)

P.S. I have put my foot in my mouth before...and this one is not different ;-)

LOL,
I hear ya.
I think all of us have from time to time savored the feet. One great offensive game does not a guru make. But, it beats losing.
