Dickerson record watch Chris Johnson only has 105 yards rushing. Seems like the Ram record will remain. Also Faulk's record is safe for time being.

guys, it was a 4th and 10........with 3 timeouts the call was made to have confidence in the D to punt the ball, get a 3 and out, then have 2 full min from the 50, to get 20 yards and tie the game at the least....yeah maybe you think he should have gone for it on 4th and ten, but if they go for it and dont get it, even with a 3 and out stop by the D the rams would have to go 85+ yards with 2 min and no timeouts, IT WASNT A BAD CALL PEOPLE.

Many many positives with this game but what sort of message does coaching staff send by punting ball vs going for it? Take youe best shot and if it does not work, oh well. 1-13 teams need to take chances to win ballgames

well said man..saved me typing the same.
if they had gone for it on 4th and 10 and failed to get it the game would have been over there and then..least they kept the game alive by making it a 4 play game...letting Moats get away with a 7 yard run was the game killer in the end..not the call to punt.

nonetheless a good performance overall by all concerned all things considered.

the defense played well all day. The offense was inconsistent. 4 and long with a defense playing well against the run. He made the right call. Plus if we put them in the 20 with the punt and had the opportunity if we put them in a 3 and out to be in good field position. It was the right call and the defense was inches away.

give it up for long, douzable, jlau, dahl, and scott for a pretty good game defensively.

Re: Texans @ Rams Gameday Thread

Disappointed not to pull this one out, but what I saw was a 1-win team fighting 'til the end. No quit in any of them. The coaches have these guys playing, unfortunately, they just don't have a whole lot of talent.

The Rams were undermanned, playing with a bunch of no-names and last minute add-ons and still, they made a game of it. The Rams had no business winning this game, but they gave it a good effort anyway. They had more talent then the Rams, they had better stats than the Rams, yet we were in it until the last minutes of the game.

A moral victory? ...maybe. But I'd rather have seen what we saw today than a bunch of guys quitting and packing it in. The Rams are just not very good. Let's admit it. They have a serious lack of talent with a no-name third string QB taking the snaps, but for what its worth, they're still trying.

We had a better chance of getting a first down as opposed to stopping them with 2.5 minutes left. I feel we should have gone for the win. "Hello, we play to win the game!"... very sad.

I thought the D played "bend don't break" fairly successfully, but wouldn't call it overall a good performance. Schaub had all day to throw and threw for more than 350+ yards and Johnson had a monster game. Over 400 total yards given up and unable to stop the Texans at a critical moment is not good defense.

The offense on the other hand at least looked like a NFL offense today and that's a noticeable improvement over most of the season.

Our coachs are playing like we are a playoff team remember they are rookie coaches theres no hope for or season so why not see how our defence respounds. I wanted to go for it but hell oh well

No excuse not going for it. You can put lipstick on a pig but it is still a pig.
