There are no guarantees, but things have changed.

    Have you noticed?

    Things are different.

And it all starts at the top with Stan Kroenke.

Since he took over, look what has occurred.

Battling for Jeff Fisher? He's ours.
    We want Cortland Finnegan? Signed.
GM Les Snead? Looking like a rock star.
Want to trade the 2nd pick in the 2012 draft? We get a mint in return.
Looking to keep key home grown talent like C.Long and Laurinaitis? Done.
Classy split with long-time fan favorite Steven Jackson? Check.
    Best FA TE? Ours.
Trying to lure top OT from Miami? Mission accomplished.

This is not the Shaw/Zygmunt/Armey Rams team. The days of Linehan, Devaney and Spagnuolo are gone.

The Rams are becoming a top-notch organization.

    Does this guarantee success? No.

But it certainly ups the odds of getting back where we want this team to be, and keeping it there once we arrive.

I can't wait to see what we do next.

Next is the draft because we are tapped out money wise for FA's. I cannot imagine cutting Harvey Dahl as I read on another thread to create more cap space.

I hope you are right about the best FA TE, because Jared Cook's signing is all about potential as his productivity in Tennessee wasn't overly impressive. I do trust Jeff Fisher's instincts on him.

    Go Rams!

Yes, I have, and I believe posted as much. I can't wait as well.

Have to congratulate you on your tap-dancing prowess however, in alluding to Kroenke (the Owner), as the prime mover in effecting this change, and then cheering the departure of various underlings, all the while ignoring the fact that the one-who-shall-never-be-maligned, (at least not in St. Louis), was solely responsible for the gradual deterioration of the Rams ever since she decided to take up sailing.

And the best part about all this, we haven't even hit the NFL draft yet. Things are looking up.

I will tell you this. Stan Kroenke is one of the hardest people ever to figure out, but in person, he is very likeable and approachable and normal.

Then there is this other guy, the multi billionaire, who touches stuff and it turns to GOLD.
In business he usually gets what he wants , which bodes well for getting a new stadium at some point.

You always wonder how such a nice fellow can make it so big in the ruthless and political world of real estate.

I think in his case, he is the nice shy country guy, the good husband and dad, and he puts on his shark suit when he goes to work, which is way better than the other way around.

Good point AV. There is a reason my signature is what it is. For a organization to be set-up for success in the NFL. You need to have an Owner, GM, Coach, and QB that are separate and do their job correctly. Ofcourse, a QB can't do the other jobs. However you see Jerry Jones trying to be a GM. You see some teams where the Coach tries to be a GM as well and are unsuccessful. Have the Owner, GM, Coach separate and worry about their own businesses and it leads to a great blueprint for the organization.
