Re: Things that we can blame on the offensive line injuries...

Hmm, not bad, on the whole. Good use of the classics like Watergate and Hindenberg. The Zima and Oprah lines were really strong, excellent choice. A little disappointed with the selections of Rosie/Donald, Back Street Boys, and Lindsay Lohan.....too much of an Entertainment Tonight re-run, you know?

However, the Olbermann/Costas line was beautiful.....well done.

And you can never go wrong with Ishtar. Never.

I mean, yes, how stupid would it be to believe that a lack of a competent offensive line could have an effect on game planning, play calling, and schemes ...

And man, I wonder why our defense gets winded at times when our offense is so prolific ...

You know there are legitimate reasons for the poor play of Ferotte, the defnsive collapses, for our inability to work McMichael and Bennett into the gameplan, and the gameplan itself.

It all comes back to injuries along the offensive line.

Without time to throw the ball without getting the QB hurt (Twice and counting this season) you have to modify your offensive gameplan to give the QB more time.

It just so happens that the slew of injuries we've had have meant that McMichael has been required as a blocker. Bennett has been more involved recently.

You can't blame injuries on bringing Ferotte in, but you sure as hell can blame his play on the injuries. A line that struggles to block and a 37 year old immoblie QB are a recipe for disaster.

And those defensive collapses? The offense can't stay on the field, because, due to the injuries, we are unable to sustain a drive, thus keeping our defense on the field. It's no wonder they get tired.

Barry Bonds, though.... definately our offensive line is to blame.
