Thomas: More Injury Woes At Corner; King Tweaks Ankle
More injury woes at corner; King tweaks ankle

The Rams' injury woes at cornerback have been so numerous and so continuous, it's almost funny. Except no one at Rams Park is laughing.
Cornerback Justin King, who was cleared to play earlier in the week after suffering a mild concussion against Cleveland, turned an ankle midway through Thursday's practice and couldn't finish.
"Justin kind of tweaked his ankle a little bit," coach Steve Spagnuolo said after practice. "He'll go in there and check it. Hopefully we're not on anything tragic."
The Rams lost veteran corner Al Harris for the season with a knee injury Sunday in Cleveland, so they're down to King, Josh Gordy, Rod Hood, Marquis Johnson, and Nate Ness.
***Meanwhile, left tackle Rodger Saffold, who also suffered a mild concussion in Cleveland, also was cleared for contact and shared reps with Mark LeVoir on Thursday. Barring any setbacks or recurring symptoms the rest of the week, Saffold will start against Seattle.
***Tight end Lance Kendricks (foot) had a good day of practice and was moving around well. After missing the Cleveland game, he's on schedule to return Sunday against Seattle. The news wasn't as good for wide receiver Danario Alexander, who has missed the past three games with a hamstring injury.
"Lance did pretty good," Spagnuolo said. "(Trainer) Reggie (Scott) just told me that Danario didn't do great. I don't know what that means. He wasn't running full tilt, didn't have a lot of reps in there."
***At running back, it looks like Cadillac Williams (calf) will miss the Seahawks game; but Jerious Norwood, who has missed the past several games with a hamstring injury, could return and serve as Jackson's backup. Norwood practiced Thursday and got a fair amount of work.

This is just laughable. Too bad King on the bench probably helps the team more than when he is on the field.
Re: Thomas: More Injury Woes At Corner; King Tweaks Ankle
These injuries to CB's for a season has to be some kind of record. seriously can anyone look to see if a cb unit endured so many injuries and people placed on IR in a season?
On another note, King isnt a starting CB, it sucks hes hurt, i never want any ram hurt, but he has been a massive liability and wouldnt be playing the starter role if we had CB's who werent in the IR. can it get any worse for our CB's????????(knocks on wood)
Re: Thomas: More Injury Woes At Corner; King Tweaks Ankle
On the bright side, King cant hurt the team nearly as much on the bench.
Or can he?!
To be continued...
Re: Thomas: More Injury Woes At Corner; King Tweaks Ankle
God I hope our D-line steps up. On the bright side, Marquis Johnson and Josh Gordy will start and hopefully not get injured as well. Gordy has shown flashes of being a solid rotational player.
Re: Thomas: More Injury Woes At Corner; King Tweaks Ankle
At some point, we can't just blame this on an absurd amount of bad luck...
Re: Thomas: More Injury Woes At Corner; King Tweaks Ankle
Somebody is sneaking into the park and bashing peoples knees with a pipe I swear.

If theres anything else to blame these kind of injuries on, could you elaborate please?
Re: Thomas: More Injury Woes At Corner; King Tweaks Ankle
There must be something going on...this cant possibly continue to happen. Like its actually unbelievable whats happening.
Re: Thomas: More Injury Woes At Corner; King Tweaks Ankle
Maybe instead of getting pepper sprayed, kicked in the groin and tasered the Stan is lead piping knees for blown coverage.
Re: Thomas: More Injury Woes At Corner; King Tweaks Ankle
The ghost of Fakhir Brown and Kevin Dockery are haunting us.
Re: Thomas: More Injury Woes At Corner; King Tweaks Ankle
Cadillac Williams and Jerious Norwood, have done nothing.... draft a RB pls...
Re: Thomas: More Injury Woes At Corner; King Tweaks Ankle
That's just not true! Caddy injured himself RUNNING OUT ONTO THE FIELD.
errr...wait :o
Re: Thomas: More Injury Woes At Corner; King Tweaks Ankle
:o Uhysh! Calling all ClanRam members to sign up at Rams Park!
Hopefully we'll be able to find enough CBs amongst ourselves to fill the urgent vacancies. I played LB in middle / high school but will gladly move to CB or even Safety if called upon (I'm at 284 - 287 lbs but can still "move").
Let's join the ranks and help the cause! :ram:
