For those still wondering, Rams make playoffs if...

To get to the playoffs, the Rams need to beat the Jets hope for:

1. A Seattle loss to Atlanta (giving the Rams the NFC West Title); or
2. A Minnesota loss to Washington (giving the Rams the Wild Card); or
3. A tie between Carolina and New Orleans (giving the Rams the Wild Card).

Actually, Minnesota playing in Washington is not a lock.

Joe Gibbs won't have anyone quit on him, or they don't have a job next year. Also, the Falcons plan on playing all their starters.

Agreed on both counts....nothing is a lock in the NFL this year....especially in the sorry NFC.....I was just trying the guage the likelyhood of each possibility.

I think our best bet is relying on the Falcons to beat the Hawks.

On MNF, Redskins would have beaten the Eagles (Philly with its All-Star cast on the field the entire game) had their QB not made that ugly, foolish throw in the end zone that was INTd late in the 4th qtr.

Given their performance all year, I say Minnesota is only a 50/50 chance team Vs. Washington on this last game of the season. Then again, yes, ditto for our beloved Rams Vs. NYJ.

Considering the Rams BIGGEST WEAKNESS(run D) is in DIRECT CONTRAST to the Jets GREATEST STRENGTH(Curtis Martin) and 'o by the way' they have the #3 D in the NFL...I would say the liklihood of a Ram win is something LESS than 50/50. I remember last years season ender fondly...a prototypical RAIN MAN special. Given his history of having this team ready for MEANINGFUL GAMES I would say 50/50 is a PIPE DREAM.
