A thought on the Rams players "Not giving up"

I love how the media says the Rams players are still trying their hardest for the coaches rather than giving up...

I don't know whats more sad about this, the fact that the Rams playing their hardest results in a 26-0 loss, or that their "Coach" repays their effort with three straight runs with 4 min to go. How are these players not supposed to roll over when they have a "Coach" that does nothing but that.

January 2nd. 3 More Weeks. PASS.

This was mainly because Spag's master plan, was hugely determined on character. Great plan as long as you combine talent with it. ?

I was a true believer that this team doesn't quit, but after that 26-0 meltdown, to our most HATED team, they did.

If you actually watched that game, you'd know they didn't. Our defense played their ass of all game, and we simply have no talent on offense outside Jackson and Lloyd. They didn't quit, they are just no good. SF just loaded up the box and took away the run game, knowing our passing game was horrible. That game was over before it started. The fact we ONLY lost 26-0 says something.

I to agree with RamFan.............I watched that game and I didn't see a team that quit, just one that was in a completely different league that the team that won. In addition to RamFan's observation, they pretty much took Lloyd out of the game with the coverage they played, doubling him and almost always playing the safety over the top. That game should have been 21 - 0 in the first half, but the team didn't quite.

Now, what gets me is when the team is getting blown out and they have the ball with 10 seconds left that they choose to take a knee. That's more frustrating that anything.

One problem I have with McDaniels/Spagnuolo is that they had no clue how to take advantage of the double, often triple coverage San Fran had on Lloyd. Quite sad actually.
