The interview you posted certainly gave an insight into Cook's opinion about how he wasn't a good fit in the offense being utilized in Tennessee. Apparently, HC Mike Munchak wasn't a fan of their offense either, as he fired his OC near the end of last season, and then shook up the entire staff in January. I tend to agree with you that the Titans had more to do with Cook's issues than Cook himself.

In the interview, he did sound excited about working with Shotty, who like Cook, played his college ball for Steve Spurrier.

If Jared comes out of the gate quickly with Sam, Fish/Snead will really look like geniuses whereas the Titans will not. Cookie should be excited as he was signed specifically because of his skill sets and will be given every opportunity to utilize them. I don't think Jared would have been offered the megabucks he received if the Rams didn't plan on giving him plenty of chances to earn them. Can't wait to see him in action.

Between Amendola and Gibson there where 183 targets, those passes will need to be directed to someone. Cook will surely get his fair share of those balls. I don't know what the plan is but I would not be shocked if Cook is the featured WR/TE next year with hundred plus passes coming his way.

Interesting to see who if at all becomes all pro first......Danny or Jared. Given the way the Patsies used Welker and DA's proven ability when healthy.....I would put money on DA.

With the news that Gronkowski, is having a set back with his arm and may not be ready to start the season, Danny boy is going to have a lot of pressure to deliver. I think he will come through for them if he stays healthy.

Cook will get his shot to catch a lot of passes from Sammy so it will be interesting to see how that plays out.

Tangibles --- Cook, all day long

Intangibles --- Amendola, all day long

    Correctamundo!

I miss Amendola already - brightest spot for the Rams in the last 5, (maybe even 10) years.

Danny provided a genuine breath of fresh air at a time both the team and us fans desperately needed it. He'll likely do very well for the Patsies dammit ..

Better hope Steven Jackson doesn't see this.

At least Cook's dad isn't filing BS lawsuits against NFL teams.

I have bought one Rams jersey in the last 45 years. It's #39.

I'm stoked and can't wait to see what Cook can do. Bradford was PHENOMINAL throwing to his TE in college.
