Three Cheers for Chip !!!
Chip certainly didn't inherit an easy task. Many of us wondered or outright doubted that a "hollywood" guy would be able to turn our beloved Rams around. There was a great deal of talk not long ago, urging Chip and Lucia to sell the team.
It is too early to make predictions about the future success of the Rams, but it isn't too soon to appreciate what Chip has been able to accomplish in his short tenure as the Rams' new owner. Gone are the dastardly duo of Shaw and Ziggy, and in their place are Billy D. and Spags, two highly respected football men. Additionally, Kevin Demoff (Noted agent Marvin Demoff's son) was hired to oversee contract negotiations with the players. I expect Kevin will prove to be no slouch either.
We haven't won any games yet to be sure, but I am extremely optimistic about our chances of improving dramatically. It is beginning to appear as though Chip is a "chip" off the old block ...
Three cheers to you Chip for what you've accomplished so far .. the road back to respectability may be long and ardous, but at least it appears we've made the correct turn on to that road under your watch ..
Re: Three Cheers for Chip !!!
I will most adiminately second that opinion. We've just come thru a really good draft for the Rams. Surfing around the country and seeing what other cities newspapers and how they are grading The Rams preformance in this draft, it runs fron a B+ to an A on what they did. The days of cussing the work of John Shaw (the reborn "George Boone") seem to be over with---THANK GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!![SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
