I'm guessing they do neither. Paying Avery twice to play the slot when Salas has shown promise makes no sense. Gilyard is fragile & unreliable,imo. Activate DX and let Salas &/or Pettis have their shots. It would help to get Uh-Oh back as well. Too early to second guess the final cut downs @ WR after one game vs those DBs & all the other injuries.Not how DeSpags will approach it, imo.

Agreed. Gilyard can play in the slot and can also handle return duties. Wouldn't be surprised if the Rams give him a call if Danny is going to miss some time.

Frankly I think they just give Salas and/or Pettis the chance to play the slot, and DX may start getting time at one of the flanks if Sims-Walker continues to be this invisible. However, the Eagles also feature some of the best cover corners you can find on any team, so it's a little hard to judge right now. Unfortunately we have a ton of great defenses to go...

Disagree, Gilyard has shown very poor hands when he has played. Avery can sit in the slot and while he doesnt have good hands he can bring speed and atleast a little experience to our receivers. Avery can be your PR/KR, and slot man imo.

One of the reasons Avery was reportedly cut was because he doesn't play special teams.
