A time for Ryan....

Apparently Bulger is done for the year. Martin got banged up while subbing for Marc and it is likely the drubbing will continue. I submit that it is time to bring in Ryan Fitzpatrick now rather than waiting till Martin gets injured. Giving Fitz a week to practice with the 1st team, rather than throwing him into the fire off the bench would allow the coaches the opportunity to forge a better game plan for him, one that can play to his strengths. What better time than now to find out if he has the ability to spark the team... Lord knows that this team could use a spark right now.....

Only problem is he might get stuffed into IR himself! Nah, let play and let's see what he's got!

Re: A time for Ryan....

We really need a running game to help these QBs out. We certainly could try Fitz out since there is no need to play conservatively, but the question is will he be ready to play in the NFL? We don't want to throw him out there if he is not capable.

I liked what I saw of him in the preseason, but that was a long time ago and that was preseason.

Hey Maui....do you celebrate thanksgiving in Hawaii?

Re: A time for Ryan....

I agree, I'd start him the rest of the year. There is no better time than the present. We may never have an opportunity to see what he can do, for all we know he could be the diamond in the rough this franchise needs for the future. Let's see what we have.
