    Is tonight a win/win or a lose/lose?

Just curious where everyone stands about the whiners vs the Skins tonight.....Is this game a win/win being that we benefit if either team loses or a lose/lose being that whoever wins hurts us from either getting a better pick or possibly sneaking into the Playoffs? I just wanted to see what everyone thought?

    It is a lose lose

I think it is completely wrong for any rams fan to be happy if the Skins lose this game because:

    A) THe ***** win
    B) We still have a shot at making the playoffs and the 9ers are one of the many teams in front of us...until we are mathematically eliminated from the run I am hoping for all scenarios to fall our way

So I am rooting for the Skins but if the skins win we lose so some draft stock

Playoff chances outweigh future draft position in my opinion

    Your standard half-full / half-empty conundrum.

One of two things is going to happen:

    1. Satan's football team will suffer a defeat while all of Heaven sings glorious melodies, but our 1st pick will be pushed back a little.
    2. Our top draft pick will get a little more valuable, but baby goats in the San Fran area will be openly molested as the Bay celebrates a win.

    Take your pick.

Being 5-6 in the NFC leaves us as a long shot to make the playoffs. If we were in the AFC we would be right in the thick of things for the last playoff spot. With being a long shot I would prefer the highest draft pick (from Washington) that we can possibly get. Afterall this is just year 2 of the Snead/Fisher rebuilding plan. Another solid draft and our team will be one to be reckoned with for a long long time.

Win/win, either we see the possibility of the Whiners being out of the playoffs or we get a better draft pick that will may torch the Whiners in years to come.

    Re: Is tonight a win/win or a lose/lose?

I see it at a lose win and a win lose.

If the whiners win its a lose win. Our division rivals won thats a lose, the better draft pick is a win.

If the Skins win its a win lose win. We get a better draft pick but no one wants the whiners to ever win.

Tough call and I see how both sides have a point.

I have to go for the draft pick at this point. We can run the table and male the playoffs even if the whiners win tonight. If they lose it does not guarantee us anything.

Honestly I prefer a Redskins win, the state of our team and overall record considered. I can't say I'll actually be rooting for either team though.

    Win / Win

Niners win, we get a better draft pick from the Skins
Skins win, we are in better position to make the playoffs

Niners need to lose, but not necessarily tonight, and the Skins have plenty of time to lose to give us a better pick as well. I'm going to be rooting for the Skins though, so we can be tied at 6-6 with the ***** come next Sunday evening.

Did you know that when Jerry Rice broke the all time receiving record, one of his teammates said "you're the GOAT, baby!" causing Rice to run into the locker room and hide in his locker?

    Re: Is tonight a win/win or a lose/lose?

Like I've said before, my love for the Rams far outweighs my hatred for the fortuniners.

And since a whiner win helps us more than a whiner loss, not only do I hope they win, I hope they take all the fight out of the Redskins for the remainder of the year.
